Sweeny Todd

John Christopher Depp II,[1] June 9, 1963) is an American actor known for his portrayals of offbeat, eccentric characters such as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and Edward Scissorhands.

He has collaborated with director and close friend Tim Burton in seven films, the most recent of which include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) and the upcoming Alice in Wonderland. Depp garnered acclaim for his portrayals of real life figures such as Edward Wood, Jr., in Ed Wood.

Films featuring Depp have grossed over $2.2 billion at the United States box office and over $4.7 billion worldwide.[2] Depp has been nominated for three Academy Awards and has won Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Mrs. Lovett:

Helena Bonham Carter (born May 26, 1966) is an Oscar-nominated English actress. Bonham Carter made her film debut in the K. M. Peyton film, A Pattern of Roses, before appearing in her first leading role in Lady Jane. She is best known for her portrayals of Lucy Honeychurch in the film A Room with a View, Marla Singer in the film Fight Club, Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, her Oscar-nominated performance as Kate Croy in The Wings of the Dove, her Golden Globe-nominated performance as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, as well as her other collaborations with Tim Burton, her domestic partner since 2001. Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman (born 21 February 1946) is an English film, television and stage actor.

He is perhaps best known to film audiences for his roles as Hans Gruber in Die Hard and Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films. He also featured prominently as the Sheriff of Nottingham in the 1991 blockbuster, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Jamie Campbell Bower (born 22 November 1988) is an English actor who is best known for his role as Anthony Hope in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd. He also appeared in the BBC drama The Dinner Party, and it has been confirmed that he is to play Gellert Grindelwald in the final Harry Potter movies.

Jayne Wisener (born 19 May 1987) is a Northern Irish actress and singer. She is best known for playing Johanna in the film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Timothy Leonard Spall OBE (born 27 February 1957) is a BAFTA award-nominated English actor.

Toby:

Edward Sanders (born 4 February 1993) is an English actor and singer. He is best known for his performance as Tobias Ragg in the 2007 film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He was also featured on the film's soundtrack.

Sanders was educated at Copthorne Prep School and currently attends Ardingly College where he is a member of the school orchestra and sings in the choir.[1] Sanders was sought after for the role of Toby after appearing with the National Youth Music Theatre at the Tonbridge Arts Festival.[1] To get the role, he competed against hundreds of other students, many of whom were from stage schools.[1]
